What caught my eye about this scene was the bright green shape of sunlight on grass. By the time I’d set up my paints the homeowner had returned in his truck and parked it directly in front of my focal spot. This is the Murphy’s Law of plein air painting; If you like it, they will park in front of it. Luckily, he forgot the milk (or something) and left again long enough for me to catch the light.
